Snow Day

Today was a rare snow day for us here in Southeast Louisiana.  I had hoped to catch up on my blog reading and get a good post in, but since we live in the sticks and we have our internet service via satellite we were without internet service most of the day.  I just thought I'd pop on and share a couple of pictures from today.  Thanks for stopping by!

I'm in south central La and we barely got any snow that stayed... It was coming down hard at 7 but by the time I woke up at noon it was all gone! Glad you guys got some to stay and play in!

Pretty pictures!! I have to laugh at this post. It bring back memories. My brother-in-law graduated LSU several years ago. The day of graduation they were FORECASTING a possibility of a half inch of snow. Because of the possibility of snow, they were considering cancelling the graduation ceremony for all of LSU. As I look out my window on eight inches of snow, that just seems unfathomable!!

I know it's different there and the states aren't prepared to deal with snow, just had to laugh at the memory!

Enjoy the snow. Go build a teeny tiny snowman!!

I would love it if we got snow every now and then!

P.S. I am never caught up on blog reading.

I am a little late in posting a comment here, seems my blog has kept my attentions (redesigning) But now that is slowing down and it's coming together, I can catch up on my reading.

We didn't get any snow here, while parts of LA got some accumulation. My daughter in Dallas got 12" of snow, more than they ever have while I lived there. Go figure!
