15 Mile Yard Sale

Every year on the first Saturday in November a local city hold a 15 mile stretch of yard sales.  I've wanted to go every year since we found out about it, but our schedule has never allowed it - until today!  This morning we got up early and hit the trail.  We got some great finds.  Had been needing to replace our VCR (ours broke a little while back and most of my workout videos are on VHS not to mention our home videos) and we found DVD/VCR combo for an awesome price.  I was also able to find 3 dresses, 2 skirts & jackets, a sweater, a duffle bag for my son's karate gear, a George Foreman grill, and my husband and son found a few other small things as well.

Spent the afternoon cleaning up around the house and now I'm about to cook dinner and the rest of the evening I will spend relaxing and resting.  It's been a good week.  I'm looking forward to worship with my church family tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I think you have a beautiful family! Congrats on 17 or was it 18 years of marriage! BTW, I think your husband looks like our new (not to the game new) quarterback! #4~~~!!!

I blog for myself to have fun talk to, be inspired by some really neat people (I was going to say women but there are a few men out there too)! Mostly I blog becuase I want to make books with pictures out of our day to day life. I am not into scrapbooking and I never have been good about a journal. For me this is the best combo. I get great feedback from you all now and then one day I hope my kids will say...oh, it that what she was doing at that computer? LOL!

I'll be back!!! :)

PS. Love garage sales! I feel so proud of the great finds at bargain prices!
